Kyle placed her in the middle of the bed on her knees. What had caused her to open up so freely to him tonight? That’s not what she had planned to do. She had only wanted to try and see where the relationship could take them. Her breath caught as he pulled his shirt off and moved back to the bed to take her in his arms.
With a fingertip, she traced the well-defined muscles from his shoulder, down his arm and across his chest. “Be with me.”
Need tightened in his gut as he looked down at her kneeling on the bed. Those three words sent the rest of his blood shooting to his cock. Kyle took a breath in, but her scent was everywhere. He knew they shouldn’t do this, but someone needed to get the memo to his dick, which was harder than it had ever been before. “We shouldn’t do this tonight. God, I want you, but you need to rest and need time to recover.”
“No. I’m fine. Don’t worry about me. I won’t break. Touch me. Be with me.”
In one swift move, Erin laid down as Kyle lowered himself onto her, careful to hold his weight off her. Need rose from deep within her, and all he’d done was look at her. Tonight she felt closer to him. It wasn’t that last time hadn’t meant anything to her, because it had. Something told her that this time it would mean even more. And it scared her.
Kyle pressed his lips against hers, and they were so soft. Desire burst between them as he drove his tongue deeper, worshiping her mouth. He left no part unattended, and she moaned into the kiss. Slowly, ever so slowly, he removed her shirt, and at the mercy of a skilled hand, her bra fell away.
Erin sucked in a breath as his lips closed around her nipple. He tugged gently at the beaded point. A pain followed but seconds later the most unbelievable pleasure she’d ever experienced followed. She arched her back to allow him more access, and his talented tongue went to work. Sensations shot to her clit as her hands found their way to his hair, anchoring him to her breast.
“You taste so good, so sweet. I can’t get enough of you.”
His words shot straight through any resistance that might have been standing in her way before. Erin pushed him away and rose onto her knees, then levered herself above him and pinned him to the bed. He laughed as he cupped her face between his masculine hands. She unzipped his pants, pulling everything off as his cock sprang to life
Today, I’m over at Coffee and Romance blog talking about Road to Recovery.
Before I get to my post today, I installed a new comment widget hoping that it will work much better. Only problem is that it took away my comments on the blog. Now I can see them on my end, but no one can on the blog part. So I copy and pasted a bunch back in with their dates and names. Even with that headache this new comment thing should work out much better.
Today is the release day of my debut book, Road to Recovery. I’m super excited. This was a fun book to write and a challenge as the hero Kyle was hard to reign in with him being alpha. I’ve been about to burst all week waiting for today to get here. I’m sure I’ve been driving my family up the wall as well with freaking out about this day. So to celebrate the release, I have a prize package to give away. All you have to do is answer the question below. To buy the book, go to Pink Petal Books.
“Can I cut in?”
She jerked her head in his direction and shot him a dirty look. Kyle’s pulse raced as he glanced over her body. She wore a short skirt and halter-top. Her clothes flattered all the right places on her. She’d finished the look off with some sexy heels.
The other man’s hands slid to her hips, pulling her closer. Kyle couldn’t miss the surprised expression that appeared on her face. Or how he wanted to rip the man’s hands from her hips at that moment.
“I believe it’s her choice who she dances with.”
“Listen, you had your chance before I asked her,” Dave barked back.
“Hello, I’m right here and can speak for myself. I’m not some toy.”
The other guy walked off in a huff, spitting something about jealous boyfriends. Kyle pulled her close. She flattened her palms against his chest. The heat from her hands seared him, as if there wasn’t a shirt as a barrier between her touch and his bare flesh.
“I never said I wanted to dance with you.”
“The hell I will.” She took her hands off him and turned to leave, but he grabbed her arm and pulled her back.
Kyle placed her arms around his neck and molded her body to his. Like a switch, the arousal he’d seen in her eyes earlier flared to life. A sensual voice echoed around them as it blared from the speakers. She took a ragged breath before she moved with him.
She rolled her hips into him, and he pulled her closer, allowing no space between them.
His right hand trailed a slow path down her arm; goose bumps rose on her satiny skin. Kyle looked at Erin as his hand trailed down to her hips, her gaze on his mouth. He could tell what had happened earlier had affected her as much as it had him. He planned to kiss her before the night ended, but for now, he’d enjoy having her in his arms, keeping her wondering when it would happen.
She drew her focus to his eyes. “You’re arrogant.”
“Yes, and now we have that out of the way, let’s move on, because it’s not going to change.”He bent closer to her and inhaled the cinnamon-orange scent that was only her. “Je tu vous embrasserai, donc à fond que vous oublierez votre nom, votre sucre.”
“Stop, doing that! I haven’t a clue what you said.”
He moved closer to where only she could hear him. “I said I’m going to kiss you, so thoroughly you’ll forget your name, Sugar.” Kyle moved back and watched her cheeks flush pink as she contemplated what he’d said.
